So we can like what everyone else likes

Is what I started to say

But it sounded condescending

Some things are just good

And of course lots of people will like them

I think of music all the time

And how there must be songs 

That I'm not ready for

Because I don't have the vocabulary 

(the musical equivalent of vocabulary)

To hear what I'm listening to

It takes time
